IMPORTANT POINTS:

 

Your dog does not have to be a pedigree, or pure-bred dog, but it must be registered with the Kennel Club either on the Breed Register, or the Activity Register. (Form 5)

 

Large Dogs, measuring over 430mm (1ft 5ins) at the withers;

 

Medium Dogs, measuring over 350mm (1ft 1.75ins) and measuring 430mm (1ft 5ins) or under at the withers (shoulder);

 

Small Dogs, measuring 350mm (1ft 1.75ins) or under at the withers.  

 

To be measured the dog must be registered with the Kennel Club, identified by a clear photograph, microchip or ear tattoo.  A second, and final, measurement must be carried out between 12 and 24 months after the first measurement

 

Dogs must be a minimum of 15 months old before the first official measurement takes place.

 

Competitors must ensure that their dog is measured prior to their first competition and that the dog’s Agility Record Book has been signed and dated by the measuring officials

 

Dogs presented for measurement should be wearing a collar and must be under the control of the owner / handler

 

Agility Record Books are available from the Club shop at 1.50 each.

 

COST

 

Registration with the activity register = £12.00

Measuring session will cost £1.00 per dog
