At DIG IT DOGS we try to encourage everyone to take part in our Club Competitions so that they can get a feel for what competing in agility is all about!

We hold two competitions for agility members which accomodate both beginner dogs and also the more experienced dogs.

The Monthly Club Competition is held on the last friday in the month and is for experienced Agility dogs.

The Begin To Win Competition is held on the second friday in the month and is for beginner or young dogs.

Both competitions have a points scheme which allows you to gain points at every competition you attend (See below) and the top 5 of each class recieve a prize and rosette at the end of the competitive season. Points are accumulated for the Monthly Competition over a 12 month period and the Begin to Win League points are accumulated over a 6 month period.

 

Points Scheme.

Points will be awarded to 10th place as follows:

3rd	8
4th	7
5th	6

7th	4
8th	3
9th	2
10th	1

• 1st Place receives a 2kg Bag of James Well Beloved Dog Food.
• Rosettes awarded to 5th place. Plus Clear Rounds and Judges Special's.
• The points will be accumulated throughout the year towards the DIG IT Championship Trophy.
• Points awarded for the best run per class – irrespective of height.

LIST OF FAULTS

For each competition there different rules and list of faults so please refer to the appropriate competition.

We want beginner dogs and handlers to gain confidence so we have 'bent' the rules slightly so please make yourself aware of them!
